The
Appearances:
The
Dynamic Del-Aires are most remembered for their appearance in Del
Tenney's Monster Amok classic The
Horror of Party Beach.
As far as I know this is the only footage of the band performing.
According
to the Press Kit for Party
Beach,
the group had a single released by Coral Records that included a
couple of songs used in the film. This is true. There is a single
featuring the songs "Elaine"
and "Just
Wigglin'-n-Wobblin'."
(See scans
below.)
The press kit also says that 20th Century Fox was planning on
releasing a soundtrack of the film. Did this happen? I don't know
for sure there are conflicting reports. Does anybody have one?
The
group also appears briefly in the Warren Picture Comic Book
adaptation of the film. They are also featured in an issue of Kicks,
a magazine dedicated to obscure rock and roll bands.

There
maybe more and I'm still digging around. I personally don't have any
Del-Aires singles so please hold those requests for dubs. In the
meantime I'll keep searching for my own copies and we'll see what
happens.
