We've
Come a Long Way
From
This

To
This

It
sounded something like this, "Holy $%*#!"
Those
were my exact words after I read the first email from Chris at Stomp
Tokyo about the possibility of moving 3B
Theater to
somewhere under their umbrella.
-
- - -
Actually
- I let it sink in for a few seconds, spontaneously combusted,
peeled myself of the ceiling and then muttered that epitaph.
-
- - -
The
answer was easy. A definite "You
bet your sweet bippy!"
The
move itself wasn't as simple but we made it.
Big
thanks,
again, to
the whole gang at Stomp
Tokyo
for
getting me out of website purgatory. This isn't a real knock against
Geocities - but
it seemed that whenever their system sneezed,
or had a hiccup, my website went all to hell. (And
Chris, I will get more organized I swear.)
Thanks
must also go to Dr.
Freex. One of the biggest complaints about my old site,
was the length it took to download a page due to the massive images.
He directed me to some wonderful software so the vidcaps are smaller
and optimized for your viewing pleasure.
The
software also allowed me to do some quick go-motion animations. Just
follow the instructions and they should work.

Although
due to some technical glitch, Mac users only need to mouse over and
click to see the animation - while PC users need to mouse over and
drag click or it will take you to the top of the page. I blame Bill
Gates.
(Fixed at a later date. But I still blame Bill Gates.)

On
this end, Jonathan Berndt deserves the biggest kudos for getting
this site up and going. Jon, thanks for all the help, and for
preventing me from "going postal" when all I had done
wrong was having one too many spaces in the HTML banner codes. (Thanks
buddy. I owes you big.)
If
you're a regular visitor to the site, I encourage you to retake your
tour through all the films. Most of them have been revised, updated
and SPELL CHECKED. (Sorry,
I don't have a grammar check. To? Two? Too? Their? There? They're?
Pffeegghh.)
So
what else can you expect?
Well,
more of the same. More Reviews
and Marathons
of some of the best cinematically challenged films ever made. I
still intend to try and update every week - or
at least three films a month.
I
also intend to get a Letter
Section
started - so
please, bring on the feedback.
I
also envision a section devoted to Source
Books and Biographies
about the B-Movies we all love. I hope to get this going in the next
couple of months.
Thanks
again to everyone - and enjoy the brand new 3B
Theater.
